Data protection

Hero impressum

The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Below we explain which of your data we collect and use for what purpose: Every time a user accesses a page on our website and every time a file is accessed, data about this process is stored in a log file. These files are not personal, so we cannot work out which user has requested which data. Specifically, the following data set is saved for each retrieval: - Name of the file retrieved - Date and time of retrieval - Amount of data transferred - Report as to whether the retrieval was successful. Personal user profiles are not created. It is not possible to draw conclusions about you personally. We statistically evaluate anonymous information of this type in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it. It will not be passed on to third parties.

Personal data

We treat personal data that the user provides to us when visiting our homepage confidentially. If the user sends us an electronic message (e-mail) and/or fills out the online forms on our website and sends them to us electronically, we store and process the data and information provided there in accordance with the respective purpose intended by the user or accepted by us, e.g. to send the requested documents or information or to check the application documents sent. This personal data will not be passed on to third parties outside the group. However, as a precautionary measure, we would like to point out that, when your data is transmitted via the Internet, there is a possibility that it may be accessed or changed by unauthorised persons. The user declares his/her consent to the above storage or use of the data mentioned and to the use of cookies. If you have any further questions about data protection in connection with this website or the data stored about you, or if you would like to object to our use of your data, you can contact us via the contact page.

COOKIES

This website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored permanently or temporarily on your computer when you visit this website. The purpose of the cookies is, in particular, to analyse the use of this website for statistical evaluation and continuous improvements. You can deactivate cookies completely or partially in the settings of your browser at any time. If cookies are deactivated, all functions of this website may no longer be available to you.

Registration on our website

You can register on our website to use additional functions on the site. We only use the data entered for the purpose of enabling use of the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full. Otherwise, we will reject the registration.

For important changes, such as the scope of the offer or technically necessary changes, we use the e-mail address provided during registration to inform you in this way.

The data entered during registration is processed based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing that has already taken place remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on our website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

Processing of data (customer and contract data)

We collect, process and use personal data only to the extent that it is necessary for the establishment, content or change of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. We only collect, process and use personal data about the use of our website (usage data) to the extent necessary to enable the user to use the service or to enable billing for it.

The customer data collected will be deleted after the order has been completed or the business relationship has ended. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Contact form

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored by us in order to process the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to the time of revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, you revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Deletion or blocking of data

We adhere to the principles of data avoidance and data economy. We therefore only store your personal data for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated here or as required by the various storage periods provided by law. Once the respective purpose no longer applies or these periods have expired, the relevant data will be blocked or deleted routinely and in accordance with legal regulations.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right to receive information about your personal data stored by us at any time. You also have the right to correct, block or, apart from the required data storage for business transactions, delete your personal data. Please contact our data protection officer for this purpose. You can find the contact details at the bottom of this page.

So that a data block can be taken into account at any time, this data must be kept in a blocking file for control purposes. You can also request the deletion of the data, provided there is no legal archiving obligation. If such an obligation exists, we will block your data upon request.

You can make changes or revoke your consent with effect for the future by notifying us accordingly.
